WHY CHOOSE I.T.S?


1.  The International Theatre School offers more classes, and the widest variety of dance styles, than any other studio in Andalucia.

The philosophy behind the creation of The International Theatre School was to break down the barriers between ballet, tap, jazz…  creating new styles of dance including jazz on pointe, Street Tap, commercial dance…  styles that are taking the TV, movie world by storm.

The International Theatre School offers classes for all levels and all ages (from 2 years old to 25 years old).

  1. 2. I.T.S are the only school in Andalucia to have made it down to the Semi Finals of ‘Spains Got Talent’ (Tu Si Que Vales)  - I.T.S students are talented & very dedicated to the school.  Many students spend every day at the studio committing themselves to long rehearsals for performances/competitions in Spain and abroad.

  2. 3.Entrance to the school is by audition only.  This makes sure that each person who auditions is selected for the right class.  This has been proved that you see the most improvement to each individual.

4.  I.T.S are the only school in Spain to have completed the I.D.T.A Musical Theatre Syllabus and can offer Professional Musical Theatre training and Rock School Singing Examinations.

The school takes yearly I.D.T.A examinations.  I.T.S have produced some outstanding results.  The school has gained over 950 Honours over the past 5 years.  Last years results (2010) not only gained 154 Honour’s but also 36 of which were marked between 90 and 94 marks out of a possible 100!  Two Students were also nominated for the IDTA Modern Jazz awards to represent I.T.S in Manchester in February 2011.

I.T.S are the only school to offer every students the opportunity to perform yearly in a Professional Theatre.  The school also offers selected students opportunities to perform in Dance Competitions and other showcases abroad such as Disney Land Paris and Sadlers Wells.  Most recently I.T.S were asked to represent Spain in The Dance Excellence Programme in Los Angeles, USA.

  2. 6. I.T.S are always encouraging their students to take on Professional Work.  Many I.T.S students have appeared in music videos, commercials and film...  The school can organize private castings for production companies looking for young talent.

7.  I.T.S are always looking to improve and find the next best dance style,  There is always room for improvement.  Being a student at I.T.S you will never feel that you are not being pushed to your limit!
